Joyeux Noel

What a wonderful trip to Atlanta to visit BFF Gerri (aka Hopelessly Romantic Art Studio) for her November workshop. So happy we were able to attend (minus Melanie...boo hoo). It was a wonderful time and so nice to meet everyone at her workshop.

Thanks to Pat (Refind~Maison~Jardin) for hosting the workshop. Her store is so quaint and charming!

Where to begin...think black and white, sheek, sparkly and dazzling. These are all things from this workshop. We made beautiful silver german glass glittered 3 dimensional stars and there was amazing packaging, embellishments and...Kelley (I) won the yummy giveaway. It was a star tiara fit for a queen...a quintessential Queen! The goodie bag included a November/December Victoria magazine, which featured Nicholas Kniel, the famouse designer from Atlanta. Even over the top was our amazing visit to his very own store in Atlana...WOW! I took away my very own german glass glitter.

Please visit Gerri's blog at http://hopelesslyromanticart.blogspot.com/
for more fun pictures.

Looking forward to another future visit (with Melanie this time..yeah) and what amazing times ahead.

Thanks again to Gerri & Pat!

Gotta go...we are on the move to our very own first ever workshop...a Holiday Hat Tree Topper, inspired by Nicholas Kniel.

cupcake wishes,

Kelley & Melanie

dear jane....busy bees!

"Crazy" quintessential divas survived all odds this week. It all began with our first custom birthday party for sweet "Tyler" for her 1st birthday party...pictures to come! Then designing beautiful gift baskets til 4:00 a.m. for the keynote speakers at a large attended Christian based Women's Conference. All in the midst of an unexpected emergency room visit and 2 day stay in the hospital for our sweet baby Sienna who came down with pneumonia.

And, you know it has gotten bad when you are sitting in a small meeting with the chief judge in her office and look down gracefully and see a shimmer on your right ring finger...oh yes....it is a glob of glitter!

All the hard work paid off in the end...God is so amazing that one of the keynote speakers loved the fact that the beautiful custom made crown we had designed especially for her happens to be her logo for her Christian ministry...WOW!

Another amazing blessing was a beautiful email received by a local photographer who met us at the Hunsader Farms Pumpkin Festival. She has requested our custom designed party hats, crowns and other party essentials for props for her clients and also for her daughter's upcoming birthday party. Upon her request, we hope to be linked to her website in the near future.

In the end, above all obstacles amazing things came to life and beautiful creations emerged under the grace of God, Mr. janes and our sweet Sarah Jane, aka 'Glitter Slave'...oops we mean 'Glitter Diva'.

dear jane has hit the ground running!

P.S. Baby Sienna is doing well and finally home and back to her sweet, silly, happy self!
